I bought a Pelican VGA box today. When I got home from the mall I plugged in my monitor and speakers and turned my DC on, ready for some JGR goodness. But the power light on the VGA box doesn't light up and I have no clue why.
I searched all over for a power switch but didn't come up with anything.
Is my VGA box defective or am I missing something?

Meh, at least for it to turn on :D I heard it's pretty rare to find an official Sega one nowadays anyways. :(
*sigh* Maybe I'll just order one online.
I'd suggest tracking one down, although I am quite enjoying my Blaze VGA box, its white with blue writing, if you can track one of those down.
nah dude, stay away from blaze..
mine has a faulty connection, so i have to wiggle it when it's connected to my DC in order to avoid a blue-ish tinted screen..
and it can be pretty damn stubborn.. it loves blue
But I like blue :D
i have the orange 3rd party VGA box... maybe Innovation?
... it works fine... and has all of the options (Volume/Headphones)
The Performance box is very nice. It has a pass-through and regular A/V outs too.
