Unreal Tournament 2003
Well I picked up Unreal Tournament 2003 today and I must say, it's a beautiful thing. I've just been playing a little bit, on the levels that werent in the demo, and I'm VERY impressed by the design. One of my favorites at the moment is a Tree level where different layers of trees are able to be scaled in low gravity with jump pads, you can fall all the way to the bottom and not die because of the low grav, and it's a good map for like 5+ people... I'm sure after I play for a lil longer on different maps I'll have better impressions. Anybody else pick it up?

Sounds groovy. Where did you get it? Gamestop didn't have it yet.
-
Hell. That's where all PC games come from.
-
I tried to pick it up, but my local Gamestop only got ten copies and it sold out fast. No other place had it yet. I'm just gonna wait til the weekend and hope either Best Buy, CompUSA, or Fry's Electronics has a nice sale on it. I think the actual street date for the game is October 2 or something...

the software etcs in our mall got the game in 4 days early
too bad Direct X is complete shit otherwise id try the game

Well I got it from the EB near me. Thing is, I wasn't even gonna get it. My friend bought it as a birthday present (Like a fuggin month and a half early) But who was I to say "No... I won't take this free game"

I like Unreal Championship better. UT2003 looks better because of the high-res, but actually trash talking is much better than having it happen automatically from the character's mouth.

Xbox is evil. Thus the PC version is superior.
:D

theres that and for me id just say the moust and keyboard control put the PC rev about 2 miles above the Xbox one

Yup. Digital Extremes said they were working on a killer control config for consoles though.. so it should be cool.
One thing about UC: It's going to be rather different from UT2k3. It'll be more fast paced and consoley, not a direct port. If you have a PC and a Xbox and you love Unreal, get both.
