I was about to remark about how the game isn't very 'twitchy,' but stage 3 has proved me painfully wrong. Brilliant, brilliant level design.
I can't beat that stage... not sure if its because I am no good, or it is 5:30 in the morning.
Perhaps a combonation of the two.
And damnit, I am not used to trying to run into the bullets! This game is gonna make me suck at every other shoot em up out there...
Yeah, 'normal' shooter skills are of no use here. Whole new ball-game.

...Of coourse you realize that the high-difficulty of Ikaruga will do nothing to help sales of a domestic GCN version.
If its gonna make ANY $$ in NA, the difficulty is gonna have to be toned down. WAY down.

The enemies will have those big googly eyes and will you destroy 'em, they wont blow up, they'll just become angels or scale out crying.
