I am finally able to consistently beat Stage 1 with one life! As for stage 2...:(
One helpful tactic I have started to employ within bullet barrages is to create safe "pockets" by suckiing up a section of bullets of one color. This is useful when there are waves of each color. When a wave of white then black is coming, I quickly soak up as much white as I can, and then use the expanding pocket to move around in and change in time to soak up the black...

UPS hasn't updated since they first got the package last week. I'm getting worried.
Me too - mine was shipped 9/6 via 2nd Day Air, and it's been in Iowa since then, with the delivery date rescheduled three times (9/11 at the moment).Quote:

hi everbody im new here , I cant beleive how many "GAMERS" are on these boards!!!! I'm seeing posts on Duo,megadrive,neogeo...NICE!!! Most gaming boards are pretty much about the top ten EBX sellers.
Anyway, I think I'm OBSESSED w/ IKY!!!! I played for 5 hours straight last night. I'm able to get through stages 1 and 2 w/ one life(most of the time anyway), I can get past 3 but once I'm on 4...bye-bye.
Does anyone find they are constantly resetting , when you screw up the opening chain? I can get a 40 chain on stage 1 , but whenever I dont I get pissed and start again...lol
You guys, Frog and Bio, have me scared. My package shipped yesterday and just this morning arrived in Iowa. Des Moines to be exact. I have 2nd day shipping, so those brown jerk-offs better get my freaking game to me tomorrow!

Question for everyone - what difficulty, credit-up type, and extra live settings are you playing on ??
I'm playing Easy with Type 2 credits (default), five lives.

I'm playing full default on normal for score & I switch over to easy when I use more than one credit, to enjoy the scenery & practice the later stages.
Such a brutal game! Easily tops my DC shooter list & I'm starting to think it is gonna end up higher than RSG on my all time shooter list.
The chapter 2 boss is one of the coolest bosses I have ever seen.

Full default settings here. I was playing on Easy but now that I've beat the game on Easy (it only took 6 credits), I'm now playing on Normal and at the moment the Level 4 boss on Normal is kicking my as over and over again.
