Ofcourse there should never be a contest until the US and Pal versions are out (but since every fan of the genre, Treasure whore etc already have it I don't think that it will make much difference).Quote:

Anyway, I would love to see contests arise with some games, it would probably lure someone new to the board and regular members would enjoy it as well and thats the point of it all.

not everyone imports just cause they like a genre
with its US release more than confirmed when the DC version came out
why would i spend double the money to get it on the DC when i can be patient and get it on the GC for 1/2 the price

Second, it's a moot point who has it, or when it's coming out. Why would we need to wait until a game is released to have a contest? We have to wait until it hits US and PAL just to host an event? Interesting. Who said we were giving away games? Let alone an Ikaruga contest? ^_^

Infrogames (or who ever it is bringing it out) said they were bringing it to the GC on both the US and Japan just no one believed them about the US release
also i get a discount Ikaruga is going to cost me about 32 bucks for the GC as opposed to the 60 plus shipping i would have spent to get the DC version
