Sounds good, Valgar.
Maybe it is worth the 50 bills...

Just ordered my copy, couldn't take the chance and wait since it probably will get rare in record time.
I need to see how he is doing this... I mean how can you possibly get a 253 chain on the third level? I didn't even think there where 759 enemies in that level... and in level four I still cant stay alive the whole time, let alone do a combo...
Also,Thanks for the break down Valgar, I'm sure it will help me out...
Thanks for that write up Valgar...this almost makes me want to buy it even though I'm not as sweet on Ikaruga as some of you guys. I love seeing stuff like this though.
I second Valgar's comments, never seen a display of shooter mastery like that in my life, it's almost beautiful. I think he missed a few enemies in level 4 and a few in stage 5 otherwise everything was chained in a level. In addition to the complete runs of the game there's a omake mode where you see various snips of different stages with different strategies.
Can't wait to see what hard mode looks like. *-neo
I took the privelage off learning a little bit more about this DVD on my own and damn I want it now... so jealous... It sounds like art from what I have heard, pure art...
Just saw this tonight. What an asshole. I'm not going to argue which game is better, but the anime cutscenes, characters, and music were some of the best things about Radiant Silvergun.Quote:

Without a doubt, this is a better game than Radiant Silvergun. For one, Ikaruga takes itself far more seriously with no "The Price is Right" music or campy anime characters spoiling the otherwise fast-paced action. I feel more like the Last Starfighter when I play Ikaruga.
if only they would port silvergun, then do project rs3 on triforce, and bring both to the us w/out cutting out a bunch of text and stuff. and non butchered cover art. for me to froth on.
and on the dvd, whered you order from j2d? i put an order in at ncs a little while ago hoping theyll restock soon. as for 253 chain on the 3rd level, maybe the shitload of enemies after the mid boss?
on another note, somehow i beat the first boss w/75 seconds left yesterday. anyone else gotten (or know of/seen) a faster time?
The Treasure superplay video (on the website) clocks in at 76 seconds.
got a url? all i could find was this but its 72 seconds on there
