Any kind of release would be nice.
But first, let's hope the game is actually pretty decent.

No this is a Snake Bliskin game. Escape from LA. By the way, I have this old tape by the name of Oddyssey in to the Mind's Eye, it's basically CG shorts from the early to mid 90's to the music of Kansas, yuk. There's a great scene with a dolphin exploring a sunken battle/cargo? ship, then, all of a sudden out comes this monster and starts chasing the dolphin. The dolphin barely gets away and traps the monster in the ship (I think). That scene is actually better than most CG scenes created nowadays. I think it was created for a ride in the Universal theme park. The detail of marine life and the ruins of the ship are unbelievable. Easily the best scene on the tape.
As for the game: You can sure as hell anticipate more games like this if Contra SS turnes out to be even a moderate hit. And some may come home. Konami will lead the way again, this time in the revival of the genre.
