Also, why is it that someone can post a story about an EB employee about the "Mega-ton" Nintendo announcement and everyone beleives it yet I can't just share a story someone told me?
Let's look at what you have repeated:
ms wants to kill Sony and rule the console market over time.
Well, I'm sorry, but I'm a bit over-fucking-whelmed by that insight, and all the information that goes in tow, that you will have to give me a good few hours to come up with a decent reply.
Spo, look into peter-pan syndrome, you have it. I think doctors can cure that stuff now.
So much whining.
How much of Rare did Nintendo own, again?Quote:
sony owns 19% of Square
about 49% ?
Mode: Rare wanted to be bought by someone. They put themselves up for sale. And Nintendo willingly sold their share of Rare to Microsoft, something I doubt SOny would be willing to do with Square.
No, I wore a bomb and walked into the offices and 'convinced' Rare and Nintendo they 'wanted' to sell. I'll do it again too, damn it.Quote:

Hate to bust in with a theory, but maybe this just has to do with Final Fantasy XI. Think of the recent rumors in EGM about the game not reaching these shores on PS2 at least due to the stated fact that Square does not have the resources in the US to do server maintainence alone.
Think MS would offer to run the servers for Square to get FFXI on the XB? Remember there's a PC version of the game already...it wouldn't be too hard to port...
Hmm... Very interesting, and logical, theory.
The only thing better than this being true (to spite the fanboys), would be for people to realize one day that hey... Square can't even make a decent game.
