I have the PSX version of Nectaris:Military Madness. It includes all the levels from the TG-16 version and the added levels were designed by Japanese fans of the game. While the game takes a hit in the graphics, it still has all the gameplay of the TG-16 version.


If you have a Turbo, I'd suggest getting the game for it first, then you can pick up the PSX version for under $10 used.

you can't find better than nectaris except lang4 so go ahead and buy it, jap or not it won't be a problem
on the psx rev the original maps (legend story)are not really hidden you unlock them by finishing normal mode . there is a total of 32+32+44 (44 fan made maps in campaign maps, very good and more challenging than normal maps).
the advantage on the hucard version is obviously the save option (3 slots)

the site has not been updated for ages, but their is an interesting rumour about a possible gba version.
neo nectaris has exceptionnaly good music and the new maps are good as well, but the addition of new units was not necessary imo.
