I definitely agree. I think it's kind of weird to buy games that you aren't going to play, but because you want to put them into a shelf just to say you have them. It totally goes against what games are supposed to be - entertainment, not items - and after a few times moving, you get over that stupid obsession of having large libraries of stuff pretty quick.

So yeah, I'm kind of against this whole collec...

Outside of the color choice on the systems. I'm pretty sure I have most of the DS games you have there Shidoshi..... lol

I sold my metal slugs and pulstar 1 1/2- 2 years ago for around what they had cost me several years previous. Now I want them back and I can't touch any of it for much less than double.

VHS tapes suck. Even DVDs are worthless. I only have about 60 DVDs, by no means a collector and I can't get rid of them. That is why I average 1 bluray purchase a year. Maybe that is too much.

I'm strictly interested in 'games I want to play'. I jettisoned my collection ten years back during a move because I didn't play those games anymore, I still feel pretty good about this.

It could have been worth more today, but whatever.

For me only my DS, GBA & GB games are a part of my "collection" everything else is just what I play or got for a price I'm certain that I can make a profit on at some point.
