When I was little I drew maps for my mum as she was playing through games so she could beat Metroid, Zelda II and Robowarrior. When she finally beat Zelda II, I was so excited that in kindergarten when were told to draw about this shitty puppets show we saw, I drew a picture of the thunderbird and link saving Zelda, and wrote something übercute like "my mummy is the best cause she killed dark link". After seeing this my teacher fucking yelled at me because I didn't do what I was told to do; lifelong gamer and troublemaker from then on, represent.

I remember the year I got Mega Man 2 for Christmas. I found it under the tree, took it out of the box, recreated the original look and played it all night. I was bushed that Christmas.
