I couldn’t find the old thread.
Anyway, I give you a reasonably long article about a guy bitching about the Nintendo Switch’s sleep functionality preventing him from seeing the title screen and thus destroying his emmersion. How did this get past the editor? It could have easily been reworked into an explanation of the “magic circle” with good examples. Instead it comes across as a guy crying about the most mundane shit.

I thought this was fine as an opinion piece. Was it lumped in with 'news'? Maybe it just doesn't belong on Polygon at all?
