Platinum Games is ten years old, and Eurogamer has marked this anniversary with a brief history article. They're a pretty amazing company, but I don't like their chances of reaching a platinum anniversary in 60 years...

Anyway, the article:Madworld's probably not the poster child they should be trotting out for that example, considering it's one of the company's worst titles.Madworld is now often heard as part of the soundtrack for countless Dota and LoL streamers. The game is emblematic of the type of quality third-party games that always seem to die on Nintendo's recent consoles.
Shame we'll likely never see a sequel or PC port of Vanquish, I would no question pay full price for that game again. Instead I guess I'll pick up Transformers: Devastation since it's on sale right now.

Bethesda needs something to show at E3, since Doom will be out, and I doubt it's just Fallout DLC and Dishonored. Maybe Mikami is going spiritual again.

I thought mentioning the platinum anniversary was heavy handed. I guess it wasn't enough.
