Have you gone to the Cube Club?

Has anyone been to Nintendos Cube Club yet? I went to it three times on the two weekend it was here in Minnesota, and it was freakin' great! Played lots of upcoming games, drank about 25 free bottles of snapple, won free Gamecube shit by kicking peoples ass in Mario Party. When it comes to your town, GO! People need to play Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance, Zelda, 1080 and others. Only problem is they insist on BLASTING horrid Rap music thats "mixed" by a really poor DJ. It would have been nice to listen to the games. But oh well.

Me, my girlfriend, Korly, Ste-Von and a few friends are going to the one in Baltimore on November 16th. I can't wait, it sounds like a lot of fun.

Be warned though, they do not provide nearly enough bathrooms. I drank WAY too much free Snapple though, thats probably the main problem.

doesn't hit NYC until close to the end of dec. which totally sucks ass since practically all those games will be out before then. except for zelda (and maybe one more game) since that's out in feb. '03. i'm still going though, and hopefully on more than one occasion.

Another warning, don't go on "Family Friendly" hours. It basicaly means that you can't play Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance, Die Hard Vendetta, and Medal of Honor. Also instead of Horrid Gangster rap you get the B-52s, Criss Cross, Michael Jackson, Backstreet Boys, and other cheese. Oh, and ape loads of kids.

yeah.. me too. i didn't check but is it at the back on spring street again? there are lots of kids from the nyc area on tnl, we should have a meeting of sorts

the list of games is practically triple that of last years IIRC, so i'd think they'd push for a bigger venue. if not though and it's at spring street again, then meeting up would be cool i guess. i'm pretty sure the group i'm going with are going to number somewhere around 10+. we'll see though, there's still 2 months of waiting to do for that.
