Timesplitters 2... Gamecube or Xbox. The trade-off appears to be in the audio/video department. XB has the better audio, but some say the colors look washed out.

THPS4:

xbox - create your own soundtrack and upload it to the HD.

PS2 - Online play. The game was made for this controller, and to this day still plays the best on it.

GC - No advantage that I know of. Atleast you can use the wavebird which is wireless, but the Dual Shock is still superior.

I heard that Xbox version of TS2 is better in co-op mode, with better frame rate.

Not sure about Cube version.

We played Cube Timesplitters 3-way multiplayer and had no slowdown. I would bet that the Cube has a better framerate than the XBox version although I haven't seen it yet.

So long as we're on the subject of Best Versions... besides Spy Hunter and NFS Hot Pursuit 2, are there any other multiplatform games that are actually best on the PS2?

Well, Are the Xbox and Cube versions of Two Towers are out? Just want to know how they compare to PS2 version, which is great.

SSX Tricky is best overall on PS2. Most stable.

Lion King-
SNES - better, crisper graphics and better sound
Genesis - worse graphics and worse sound
Winner: SNES

Earthworm Jim-
SNES - smooth watercolory graphics, very nice!
Genesis - One extra level
Winner: toss-up, but Im only saying that because I had the SNES version when I was a kid.

Aladdin-
SNES: Made my Capcom. Fun game. Collect a lot of fruits. Didnt really stick to the movie that well.
Genesis: Made by Shiny. Very fun game. You get a sword. More faithful to the movie. Had a fun mini-game. Harder than the SNES one.
Winner: Genesis.

Diablo-
PC - very addictive, good mouse control, multiplayer! But with hacks.
PlayStation - 2 player max. Sucks shit.
Winner: PC

Mortal Kombat-
SNES-very nice graphics, poor control, no blood, loser fatalities
Genesis-uncensored, good control, but inferior graphics to SNES.
Game Boy - black & white, looks like ass.
Winner: Genesis

NBA Jam-
Who the fuck cares, all the versions were exactly the same.

If you have/had a 32x and played the Genesis version, it was one of the few games that actually looked better, pretty much on par with the SNES version. The Wolverine game was another like that I hear.

Again, Sega CD version was better, except for Shang Tsung matches.
