I agree, Turok Evo could have been even better and is not as good as some other FPS's, but it's still a very fun game, like MOH was. And OMFGNinjas or whatever your nick is blow me, you're a retard.

I finally bought it on Cube and played it and it's pretty average so far. I'm past the pterodactyl missions which were kind of fun in a lame way. I laughed at all the dialogue to try to make the game look epic or something.

Graphics aren't that good, it looks very plain kind of like Darkened Skye which has just average graphics. Some of the structures look like paper or a paper rock with light shining behind it which gives it that "washed out" look. The water sucks for a machine that can do some amazing things. The FMV is pretty bad and grainy as well.

It looked like Acclaim didn't even try with this one, hell Turok 2 and 3 kick it's ass which is kind of sad. The weapons are still kickass thankfully. The sniper gun is really cool and the arrows/weaponry are great. My only other gripe is the accuracy of the controls. I don't think it's the GC controller as I had no problem using the sticks, but the aiming is off especially when you're shooting close up. I thought it was a sad day in gaming when you get your ass handed to you by some regular butt monkeys.

It has nice music though, very fitting tribal type beats and good sound effects. I still haven't beat it but it's definitely only worth 20 bucks. Not the best of all the Turok games, and if I paid any more and I would have felt ripped off. Oh and I look back at StriderKyo's impression of the game and I can't help but laugh my ass off. Sorry Spo.

I was at Game Crazy this morning and saw XBox and Gamecube versions used for $12.99....I instead grabbed Quantum Redshift at the same price but passed up Turok..

I think I'll go back and pick it up.
