Thread: Nullify the vegetarian moral crusade:

Not true. Our bodies need a constant supply of meat. If we were talking primates...then you'd still be wrong.Observe.

It's an acrobat file, so I hope you have an Adobe reader.

There is ZERO advantage to eating vegetables exclusively, outside of the pseudo-moral high some millitant veggie's get, like EThugg.

And I agree with your second point. I have no problem with veggans, vegetarians, or any other type of person who subscribes to a particular diet. It's when they attatch false morals and reasoning to their diets, and try and force them off on me that I begin to get offended.

  2. The human body digests veggies easily, meat and dairy, not so. I'd say that's all the evidence I need.

I eat no eggs, dairy, poultry, meat, honey, etc.

Nuts, beans and veggie meats provide plenty of protein. Not that I worry, I wasn't healthy as a meat eater, and I'm not 'healthy' now. I don't eat for health, I eat for fun, as long as it doesn't compromise morals. I looove eating, so anyone who falsly thinks vegans have to chew on carrots all day are very mistaken. I just had a nice big spagetti dinner with soy burgers quartered and added in for 'meatballs'.... mmmm... delicious! Pizza with Vegan cheese is a favorite of mine, as well as Tofurky brand 'turkey' slices, with fake, but oh so tasty Soy Mayonnaise, sandwiches. I miss Polly-O mozzerella, and that's about it.

    Uhh, you called?

And for Captain, I'd really recommend trying duck, but not Peking duck. Most duck is very fatty, so you'll have to pay some good money at a restaurant unless you want to go through all the grease and fat yourself. Besides of which, if you prepare the duck yourself, you're missing out on the best part, the sauce. Duck with a light strawberry fruit sauce is so extraordinarilly good (I don't even like strawberry flavored things) that I believe everyone should try it, at least once. But be warned, you may need a bib when going into a duck, they can become quite a mess.

It's actually the other way around. Meats provide near instant nutrition, as they break down faster than veggies. Veggies are more complex foods than meats, and thusly, take way longer to break down.

Ever wonder why a gorilla's tummy is so bulging and big? It's because of the amount of veggies they eat. Their stomachs have a rather difficult time breaking down the complexness of the veggies, so they just sit there, as their stomachs chug away. This is also why they are always constantly eating.

Here's a link that compares the digestive tracts of herbevores, carnivores, and omnivores:

    DING!!!

Where the Hell'd you get your info? Looks like someone needs to do a bit of research before they go spouting on things they don't know.

Oh, and I forgot to mention, it's very comprable to very dark turkey meat, with good sauce. (almost all duck has a fruit sauce of some sort, at restaurants)

No problem, the more popular my favorite meat is, the better.

I wouldn't eat any duck because I had a pet duck. Yes, that's right.. a pet duck. It lived under the deck of my parents house.

ps. I hope no-one here wants to eat Oolong the Bunny (from MechDeus' sig)?!

Well, if you ate the Aflac Duck, I would have to hunt you down and make you suffer a long, gruesome, and painful death. So, don't go eatin' the Aflac Duck.

Ummm... you mean yourself? Not one thing you said was the truth. Believe what you want, you haven't listened to reason once, I don't expect any shift from you.
