    Piles of Shame

    Anyone like me and have any brand new sealed games sitting in your home? Weird I guess but I buy games and end up setting them aside without opening them. Someday I will play them but for now they sit in my sealed pile of shame.

    Anyone ever do this?


  2. Yep. And I own games for consoles I don't own. (5 PSX games, 2 PS2 games, 2 XBox games)

  3. Well, I do that as well. Not all of my games are in shrink wrap, since I tend to give them a try before sending them to pile of shame

    PSX:
    Dragon Warrior VII
    Suikoden II
    Azure Dreams
    Fear Effect II
    Iron Soldier III
    Vandal Hearts

    SNES:
    Super Empire Strikes Back (that's a duplicate copy, though)

    SATURN:
    Pandemonium (I have it on PSX, that's the one I played)

    PS2:
    Harvest Moon
    Ace Combat 4
    Look out, man, Wooly's gone ape-shit.

  5. I don't see how thats possiable I guess. I always give my game a whirl when I get it home. I guess I could see that could be true with RPGs or something, don't want to get involved. But I don't play RPGs. Plus when I usually buy games its to play them at that time.

  6. Even if I'm not going to play them for ages, I always unwrap my games the second I get home. It's like Christmas, dammit.

  8. The only sealed games I have sitting around are games that I played through... beat... traded back in... and rebought when they were dirt cheap. I always have to at least flip through the manual.

  9. One time my sister randomly walked into my room around 2am and said "Here...Scotts work gave this to him and he dosen't want this crap" and she handed me Test Drive 4 for Dreamcast. After proclaiming that I didn't want the crap either, I tossed it into the pile of DC games and I haven't opened it since.

    Thats the only one though.
