The House of the Dead III demo on the latest OXM demo disc is quite short, I thought.

I don't expect demos to give you a third of the game like shareware Doom but it's quite annoying when a game doesn't leave you with enough to judge whether the game is worth buying or not.
An example mentioned in another thread is the demo of Primal. I found it too short to determine whether it's worth buying or not.
Any other examples?
That 1/3 of Doom is awesome, more awesome is the demo of Bushido Blade that lets you play as every character. As far as demos being TOO short, I've got to say that the old JGR demo was a bit too short, as it only gave you access to training levels.

I hate demos with a timers on them.
"YOU HAVE ONE MINUTE REMAINING!"
Grr, just give me one whole level to play you assess.
I can understand a timer for kiosks, but not for a home-released demo.

i hate that the GC demos are only 10 minutes long
That's made even worse by the fact that you can't get any demos commercially released for the GC in the states.

The Demo version of DDR for the PC was terrible.
All you get is Emi playing 1-player single Let the Beat Hit Them basic. Then it closes.
really, I think it's a crying shame if a demo has anything less than an entire level.
I thought the Splinter Cell demo was a good length. Just enough to let you get your feet wet, but not so short you don't have time to try out everything.
On the other hand the Panzer Dragoon Orta demo seemed too short. That and perhaps unfinished? There doesn't seem to be any music and the rain effect seems to come an go during the first level. I'd dare say it's just the E3 demo slightly polished.
