Has anyone seen the Shinobi TV ad?

The Shinobi TV spot opens with an Asian guy in a store playing the original Shinobi arcade game when some creeps come in to vandalize the store. A quick image from the new Shinobi is shown and then some guy with a long red scarf darts around the store, doing something to the creeps. One or two more images from the new Shinobi is shown and by the time the guy looks up from the arcade version of Shinobi, all he could see is a red scarf going out the window. Following this, a badly dubbed voice says "Shi naw bi is back!" Er, that fake 'new' Sega scream also is back for the TV spot.

The ad showed very little footage from the game. I'm going to give the game a try since Joe Musashi is in there, but I dodn't have a good feeling about this one. I'm keeping my fingers crossed...but the TV spot doesn't make it any better.

I just saw it. I was confused as hell until the kid yelled "SHEE NAH BEE IS BAHK!" and then it was like....oooohhhh...okay.

Wish they showed more of the game =\

I personally think Hotsuma (or whatever) is much more cool than Joe Musashi ever was. I haven't seen the comercial though, no

Hotsuma does look cool. I'm just curious to see how they go about updating Joe Musashi's look for the new game.

That commercial was messed up... Looks like a japanese style commercial though. they should have made something an american audience could understand.

It's an easy commercial to understand. Those generic enemies from the game run into a convenience store looking for Hotsuma while some Asian guy plays Shinobi on an arcade machine. Hotsuma comes in and lays waste to all the guys, and the arcade kid turns around to see bodies everywhere as a long red scarf flies out the front door. "Shinobi is back!"

Cool commercial, but the gameplay itself is cool enough. They could've just shown all gameplay footage of Hotsuma kicking ass with style and had the camera pull back to show the arcade guy playing Shinobi on his PS2 and TV at home, breathless and saying "Oh yes, Shinobi is back."

As cool as the commercial is, I do not support the ninja cause and ask all of you to not purchase this shitty game.
