That's fine, but you are screwed if your S-Video cable doesn't have a yellow plug, like my Monster cable. =(

After debating for a while, I caved and bought Time Crisis 2, hoping it would work on my TV. The box says you need some special adapter if you play in S-Video...
Well, the box is full of shit.
All you have to do is connect Time Crisis' yellow RCA plug to your TV/switchbox and connect the S-Video's yellow plug (that you don't use) to the other side of the TC plug. Ta-da! GunCon 2 in S-Video goodness! No "special" adapters needed (thank you Sony).
So now that I'm good to go with the PS2 light gun, what can you tell me about the other gun games for the system? How are:
- Dino Stalker
- Vampire Night
- End Game
I'm probably going to pick' em all up but I'd like to know how much fun they are (length, replay value, etc).
Thanks!

Ninja Assault is on the PS2 also. I think its out now, or is coming out soon.
I don't know about the other two, but Vampire night is average at best & really pales in comparison to HOTD 2 & 3 and Time Crisis 2.
JM
Well, Lets see:
Vampire Night - I presonally love this game. Its not as intense as HOTD2 or TC2, and is more tactical gun game, as you have to make alot of clear shots, to save people, and take down monsters. I think its a nice touch, and makes the game more challenging. VN also has great atmosphere and locataions(ancient castles, snowy forests, cloudy towers). Its like playing Castlevania gun game, and I like character and monster designs. Very cool Boss batlles, usually consisting of two parts, with enemies changeging their forms and attacks. Cool extras like monster dictionary, training and challenge modes, origial mode that gives you various quest to do in the game. If you looking for something different in your gun game, VN is a great game to try.
End Game - I only heard bad things about it, but havent tried it personally. From what I read about it, it sounded very nice, but I guess it failed to deliver. I will try to find it cheap on Ebay, and try, but I dont think it worth full price. TRU has it for $30 last time I checked.
Dino Stalker - I love Capcom, and I like Dino Crisis series, so I am very interested in DS. Just as with End Game, I will try to find a good deal on it, and add to my collection.
Ninja Assault - It should be coming out shortly, and its a fine gun action game. Lots of enemies to shoot at, challenging levels, fun Boss fights, and great locations. Plus PS2 version will have some cool extras, like extra modes, locations that werent in Arcade version, etc.
Also, dont forget to check out Elemental Gearbolt and Time Crisis Project Titan on PSX. Both are very solid and fun gun games, and work with GunCOm 2![]()
here's a curb for ya, HOW THE F*CK DO YOU USE A LIGHTGUN TO PLAY HOUSE OF THE DEAD 2 ON A WEGA TV!?!?
I think I'm having the same problem you are, but since this is the madcatz LG, I think I'm screwed!![]()
don't wanna tangle with you, I'd rather tangle with him.
I think I'm gonna bash his head in...
I haven't had any problems playing HOTD 2 on my WEGA. I own the Interact gun, so that may be the reason. I haven't seen the MadCatz gun and thus can't give you any details about it. Anyone know?
The Interact gun is just plug and play. I always play with the lights off and so far have played through HOTD 2, Confidential Mission, and even Death Crimson EX with no trouble at all.
Man I love light gun games!![]()
Well, Both guns I use for my PS2 - GunCOm2 and Scorpion are working perfectly with my 32" Wega. No problems there.
Actually its pretty cool. It looks very nice, have a cool infra red aiming that is just fun to use, but not very usefull in the games. Its very light and fits great in the hand, and easy to use. Accuracy wise its not bad, but GunGom2 is better, when properly calibrated.
