Yah, that's what I meant. It seems most of those people are fans of the players, but not the team. If I remember correctly, there were several hometown/state heroes that are still playing for the Stars.

Yeh, that seems to be the way it goes for most fans of defunct teams.

I was a big Nordiques fan and now I loathe the Avs - yet I still love Sakic and Forsberg (2 of the 3 ex-Diques left on the team).

Minnesotans hate ex-North Star Mike Modano though, I think, becuse he came out and said a bunch of bad things about Minny after the team moved. I don't remember exactly what they were tho'...

Wow, what a game, 5-1 Wild. This has to take the wind out of Vancouver's sail.

Despite such huge scoring victories over Vancouver, I bet the Wild won't be repeating that type of win tomorrow. It'll be interesting to see how the Canucks rally against Minnesota in game #7 because I bet it'll be a low scoring/ overtime victory for whoever wins.

Ha ha ha... it's not really a big deal, or anything. I just give people crap whenever they say anything about Minnesota (Scourge will die). And I am able to spell both Ontario and Toronto; I should be able to as Ontario is one of our Canadian neighbors, the other being Manitoba with its lovely city of Winnipeg (I've never actually been to Canada, however).
