  1. Anaheim! Welcome to the frosty north!

    Go Jersey!
bastard of the new world order.

  2. Well well well.... the Wild beat the Canucks in a come from behind victory. What an amazing game and what an amazing comeback. It's a great story.... I am sad for the Canucks but I am really thrilled for the Wild.

The Wild really reminds me a lot of the '94 Devils, who pretty much came out of nowhere that season (starting in the regular season) thanks mainly to coach Lemaire.... It's funny because the Ducks remind me of the Cinderella '88 Devils. Heh.... I guess you can tell I am a Devils fan there.

Anyway, I think we have finally seen the last of Dan Cloutier in Vancouver. He's horrid. He's horrible. Brian Burke really really blew it when he didn't dump Cloutier after last year's debacle v- the Wings. Hell, I was pissed off when they gave up on Félix Potvin! It's high time they fiiiiiiiiiinally replace Cloutier.

Maybe they should try to pick up Khabibulin? The news today is that he wants out of Tampa thanks to being snubbed in Game 5 by Tortorella.

Now I am hoping for a Devils-Wild final! There would be so many great storylines. They don't call the Wild "Devils West" for nothing. Lemaire. Bombardir.... Lou Lamoriello's worst trade ever (I think it's nearly official now, Mitchell for O'Donnell is worse than Ysebaert for Norwood) coming back to bite him in the ass.

This has been the most entertaining playoff year in 10+ years.

    *grumble, grumble*

  4. Nice win Wild, too bad I fell asleep during the last period and missed the ending few minutes of the game (stupid flue).

Isn't this the first time in NHL history where a team has recovered from trailing 3-1 games in series, twice? If so, good show.

They said that? Haha...Fox News rules. I've only seen one person in a mask around here the whole time this has been going on, and that wasn't even in Toronto.

The man will be lucky to make it out of that city alive...well, y'know, he would be in a less laid back place. Anyway, I'm so glad the Wild won. I'm glad there's a team I don't hate still alive.

Either the Wild or the Mighty Ducks are guaranteed to be in the Stanley Cup Final. That's so messed up.

After 8 years of Colorado/Detroit/Dallas, I think it's a wonderful breath of fresh air.

I have never cared one bit good or bad about the Ducks before this season.... but when they acquired Sýkora from the Devils and Giguère from the Flames I started paying more attention to them. I have also like Påhlsson since he played in Sweden.... so even if they upset the Wild (boy that's an even stranger thing.. the Wild have home ice in the WCF!) they'll be a very interesting team to watch.

I am definitely supporting whoever wins the ECF though. The Devils are my fave team, so naturally I want them to win it all.. but the Sens are my 3rd fave (right after Montréal and just ahead of Vancouver and Minnesota).

I can't remember a season where all the teams I hated went out early and the last 4 teams were all agreeable and interesting to me. I am usually bored to tears when the Devils don't make it to the latter rounds.

    Good times.

Three Canadian teams down; one to go.

The Cup won't even remember what Canada looks like after 10 years away.

  8. Considering the hockey hall of fame is in Canada, it might.

That sucks, but Vancouver deserved it. I hate the Wild, and I don't know why. I think it's because of their rabid fans or something. But if they win it, they do deserve it. I personally want Ottawa to win, but it's not going to happen.

    Great playoffs.

Why do you say that? I think they are the favourite to win the Cup now, especially considering the teams still alive... They have a pretty good chance.

I hope the Devils beat them, of course, but I think the Sens have to be favoured in the series.

The Ottawa Folding Tents will never be a favorite to win anything. They have beaten the Isles, who could not have won a seven game series against any other playoff team and the Flyers, who are the only bigger group of choke artists than the Sens in the league. Ottawa is going to wake up one morning an realize where they are. They'll then fold like every other year and start the whole "we're tougher this year" bullshit again next year.
