I think there is a law dictating how sharp a picture satellites can take under normal (non-war) circumstances. The technology is there, however. It's very amazing.

I'm trying to figure out where I used to walk past the WTC from Chinatown all those years ago. I know there's a church nearby and a J&R... the quality of that pic is indeed surprising...

This thing is cool as hell! And now, for shits and giggles; My high school (in between the baseball field and football field) and I currently live in one of the houses on that street directly to the left of the football field. That's damn cool, even though I wish I could get even closer...
