I don't get the MVS bit.

But I've said this every time you've posted a new strip: your artwork is the best.

I think he's jealous.

At first, he seems to be jealous that a few people like me, like Curtis, Dan and Brandi, and airing of some imagined personal gripe. Some people hate me, so, it's good to get attention and such by making with the ha-ha's.

Then, he's just complaing about Emily, now that she is with Dan and doesn't want him as more than a friend, and uses my likeness (or what he thinks it to be) to substitute for himself as he critisizes himself.

This imagined MVS, tells him all the things he knows is true, and so on.

He is a disturbed individual, or maybe he just plays one for the attention. This is the 'artistic' representation of what would be jacob rens posting his live journal on a message board for pity and attention. No matter how many of you say "I love it", "It's good" and so on, the few that tell him it sucks, as they all have, are going to cause him concearn.

Even penny-arcade is only funny every 16 strips, julian has about 10 to go to match that.

First half of comic very funny, second half had great art. Someone needs to calm down and stop acting like everything is a huge tragedy and the world is coming down on him. There a millions of people who have it worse then you.

First off you really have no idea what's going on with Julian and the fact that you analize him personally from what you've heard isn't right...I've known Julian my entire life and was ground zero for all the shit that went down and what your saying (also) isn't right. From what he's TOLD me he is NOT jelous of dan nor does he want Emily back ...this comic was part of self actualization and resolution, he could care less about your pity and such. You can have your opinios, but next time you feel the need to tell "what's going on" I suggest talking to somebody that actually knows.

Jeez Julian.. just ask the girl out already. The impact of the anticipation of a "no" from her is actually greater than the impact of the "no" itself -- and it is FAR more damaging than what she could actually do to you by declining a date. Trust me, I know this.

I apologize to everyone for the way this thread is turning out. I did not post this comic hoping to get my dick sucked or to be analyzed or to piss people off. I've had some things bothering me lately and the best way for me to deal with it is to draw. I made a comic that went far overboard and would be something that would be hard for me to read and especially hard to create (taking the time to pencil, ink, scan...I've read it many many times by now). It's next to impossible for me, or for most artists, to make any art for an audience without putting themselves into it at least a little bit. Drawing just to please people isn't fulfilling in the slightest, so if I can make something that will entertain but also serve as a catharsis for myself, I will do so.

I have nothing against Matt Van Stone or Orochi or YAWA or anyone here. I've had that comic done for a week or so and almost didn't post, but as my roommate put it "It's the internet, no one cares. Freak 'em out." And the fact that no one cares about my personal life here allowed me to post without concern.

But I promise, the next comic will not be about that girl Lhadatt mentioned or about how I wish I was taller or what outfits look good on me.

I didn't say it was fact, but those are my thoughts. I'm sorry you got your undies in a bunch over something like this.

I'll say whatever opinion I have on anything posted on this board, posting something here is to leave it open for comment, be that critisizim, interpertation or praise.

Sadly, that fact seems to have escaped you.
