I got resistance on mine as well which must explain why I don't see eye to eye with everyone because I simply see the general public as other people that live their daily lives, yet their matters are none of my concern unless they show they're worth giving any thought of care for.

Whether you know it or not, your unconscious mind is defending your internal emotional experiences. It acts like an emotional dam that helps you keep things in check. One reason for this could be that you have a deeply-rooted fear of being flooded by emotions.
