Shinobi blew balls, CONTRA OWNZ ALL OF YOU, none of you can say you are a fan of the shooting genre and not own this game, it is nonstop action (maybe a 2 second break tops) and one shot will send you tumbeling down. I still can't beat mission 4.

I have recently played through Super Metroid and thought it was a great game and all but I think it is far from being one of the best games ever. If I was trapped on a desert island with one game I would take SOTN, NiGHTS, Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy VI, or Morrowind over it anyday.

I feel that the original Metroid beats out Super Metroid. The gameplay just seems a little tighter.

For the people that gave it a decent chance, it's basically Shadow Dancer/Shinobi 1 in 3D without the dog.

Just imagine how crazy a Shinobi sequel would be when they add more varied ninja magic like fushin and mijin. When they add the horse riding, surfing parts. It's going to be one amazing game.

Kuonichi doesn't really count cause it just seems so different so far.
