As a Liverpool supporter, I quite like that place.

Do the Bluebirds still play at Ninian Park? If Cardiff had a top flite team do you think they'd (play at and) fill Millenium Stadium?

Yeah Ninian Park, just off Lethwick Road. Welsh football is on the rise right now with the national side and Cardiff looking likely for promotion to division 1. I certainly hope they move to the Millenium Stadiam as the area has a lot of good pubs and clubs. Also it's walking distance for me and it's about time football overtook rugby in Wales!

  5. sggg, I read that article and I think it understand what version will be released in America. Notice how it is called Club America? They're gonna make a game for the *spectacular* MLS (major league soccer) league I bet. Either that or just call it America and include the World Cup roster. In case you didn't know, the MLS is our professional soccer league. It is quite sad actually. Nobody goes to the games. And after a few seasons some clubs have already been disbanded. It gets no press, no lovin, and no nothing. So yeah basically Codemasters is wasting their time on this.

  6. Brad Friedel owns. Shame the rest of your squad is nothing special.

  7. World Series Baseball is great on XBox, although its got some wierd problems (too many oppositve field homeruns...bad fielding animation).

NHL 2k3 is exceptional, especially online.

NFL 2k3 is great (despite what EvilMog and others that suck at the game say)

Tennis 2k2 is great, at least on DC. Its a much more diverse Virtua Tennis, infact I'd say its a pretty big upgrade. Lots more animation and shot variety leads to better gameplay in this case.
You probably don't think I'm a very nice guy...

I know all about the lousy MLS. I live in Montréal (home of the world famous Montréal Impact! Hehe) and I am originally from NJ. I've even seen the Metrostars in person..

Anyway, I can see where you might think that... but, well, they went on about the players being modelled and the UK clubs and all that, so I don't think they'd go through all that trouble to make a game like that for the US club teams or national teams (no matter how lucky they got in the World Cup).

I just Googled again and I found another version of the same article:
    http://www.gamersmark.com/news/2002/05/0/1471/

In this version the final line was changed to: « Codemasters’ seri es of Club Football titles is currently under development and scheduled to launch in America next year for PlayStation®2 and Xbox. »

    Here is another version:
    http://xbox.gamezone.com/news/05_30_02_12_37PM.htm

So, I am pretty sure it's announced for NA... but that does not mean they'll actually go through with it.

Yeh, Welsh football has been taking great strides lately and I am happy to see it. The victory over Italy was great! A classic!!

Anyway, I'd love to see Cardiff City become a big club. I've always had a certain fondness for the club because they are Martin Rossiter's (the lead singer for Gene) favourite team and we talked football a few times (he also likes Liverpool!) Plus, I like Wales and anything to improve the game there is good by me.

Oh man, he suu-uu-uuu-uucked when he played for Liverpool.. I was so happy the day he left. He was an embarassment. But I'll admit he did play quite well in the World Cup last summer.

I'd still rather have Dudek though.
