Thread: What Have You Killed The Most?

  1. Slimes.

  2. i think i originally voted monsters, but after really thinking about it, i've shot down a fuckload of machines in all the shmups i've played over the years, and killed a LOT of opponents in quake and MK2 xband..

very hard to say.. since there's no way to keep track..
MK2 on XBLA plz - let the unfolding of gameplay begin!!

  3. Beasts.
I've killed more BugBears in the "Tales of" games than any other game ever released.

  4. I just played through Smash TV last night, so right now I'm gonna vote for Humans.

After a few hours of Robotron, change my vote to Robots.
You probably don't think I'm a very nice guy...

  5. A few years ago it probably would have been monsters or robots, but now that I've had my turn with UT its humans for sure.

    Weren't they mutants?

  7. I think most of the baddies were humans, but there were some robots and the bosses were definitly mutants.

Besides, they had red blood. As a rule of thumb, if its got red blood it must be human.

  8. I think that's just the violence BenT. Which I'm inclined to agree with. I'm pretty damn desensitized. That doesn't mean I've lost the capacity to reason and understand violence (or distinguish between right and wrong), simply that it doesn't outright horrify me.

As for creativity, I dunno I've never been particularly creative, but I don't have any problems writing, and ideas bubble up constantly when I'm working on a game design.

  9. Hmm, hard to say. I've always considered myself an equal opportunity slayer. I guess machines have an edge though since they seem to appear in a majority of the games I've played in one way or form.

Oh please, video games are probably responsible for making me more indifferent to threats, insults and embarrassing situations that could trigger a violent outburst from some other person. I'm not only the most avid game player in my group of friends, I'm also one that exhibits the most reserved behavior in near any situation.

As far as creativity is concerned, after a night of playing through a game with stunning artwork and graphics, my mind goes crazy, inspiring me to draw like mad. The effects of gaming (as well as everything else) varies from person to person.
