What systems are your games from? If they're newer, stores are probably your best bet. If they're older, eBay's your only hope for any cash.
Or you could drop them off at the Funco at Severance and tell them to give all the games to me.![]()
65 games to be exact, from multiple systems. I am looking to finance a Playstation 2 and even a Gamecube since I am broke otherwise. But I would like to know if I should take them to a store, (EB, Funcoland, etc.) or to go the Ebay route.
I know that Ebay can get me more money, but the other stores are faster, and some offer trade in deals for new systems.
I know people here have gone through similar stuff. I could really use some advice.

all the stores will rip you off.
i'd suggest ebay.. after the first few listings, you'll figure out how to streamline the process, and you should be able to list things very quickly.. it's less of a hassle than it will seem at first, and ebay certainly won't try to rip you off as much as the retailers.
MK2 on XBLA plz - let the unfolding of gameplay begin!!
There's a TRADING board ya know.

Indeed, I just saw the board, it would be nice to keep the games "In the family" so to speak, and the interest would be quite good here.
(thinks)
EBay is absolutely the only way you're going to get fair value for the games. If you sell them any other way, basically, you're getting suckered.
If you're going to try to sell through TNL, please do it in TradeDepot.
I'd stay away from trade-ins at retail. If you don't want to list everything independently, sell them in lots on eBay. You'll make less, but it won't be as much of a hassle.
I agree with the others, eBay is the only way to go if you don't want to get the shaft. It's not that much of a hassle if you are well organised. Make an auction template. Sign up for PayPal. Make a database for all your auctions (either in software or even on paper).. it won't be too hard.
Good luck. Maybe you'll have something I want.![]()
If you need to sell games in the first place, then you ought to be able to afford the time to sell each game separately. You'll make more money that way - considerably more money.
EBay has some function where, after posting an auction, you can click a button and get the exact same auction template - you just go in, update the text and the picture, and repost a new auction for a new game. It doesn't take that long.
Auctioning in lots or in bundles allows you to exchange wasting time (separate auctioning) for wasting money - no point.
Unless you're not really concerned about getting the most money for them, I wouldn't take them in to a store. The only nice thing about that would be the convenience.
I'd try selling the stuff on the TNL forum first, since it's faster than Ebay and you won't have to pay commission. Then, after a couple days, you can take whatever you don't sell and Ebay it.
