Thread: Diablo II: Lord of Destruction - Set Team

  1. Diablo II: Lord of Destruction - Set Team

A friend and I are trying to get a small, reliable group of players together to run characters that will be designed to really complement each other, in terms of skill/stat growth. We were doing a 4p team, but neither of the other 2 players were very reliable, so we're down to a really unexciting 2p team. We'd like 4 or more players. If you're interested, reply or contact me some other way.

  2. *debates on suggesting this to a former Diablo 2-addicted roomie*

Naah... I'm not that evil. He's finally broken his addiction of a few years and I don't want to tempt him back into that hell.

  3. I think I still have some lvl60ish characters, but I'm not sure if I can take the chance of being addicted again.

  4. Same here. I even went so far as to sell my Diablo2 stuff on ebay. That games too addictive. I have feeling PSO is similar in that regard, so, I'm not sure if I should even get that....and god help me if Diablo 3 comes out...

  5. I SHOULD'VE sold all my crap on ebay. I had a bunch of nearly maxed out in level characters (three I think), but instead I just let the account lapse...

  6. Heh, I meant my Diablo2 and LOD games, not the actual characters and items...I never had any of the outright *amazing* uniques or runes, although some of my set items were damn nifty. Plus, after a while I got into making underdog characters (like my Hell defensadin), so I doubt anyone would want to buy those...

Ah, indeed. You weren't to clear in your intial post so I wasn't sure.

I acutally have gotten really good rares when I've played. I suppose if you're doing hours and hours of Baal runs you'll get something decent eventually...

  8. I still want to get this game I loved the original one, anyone know where I can find the Diablo Battle Chest for a good price?

  9. Check the discount thread, I think I remember someplace selling the Battles Chest, and you get WCIII free or something...

  10. We're actually playing local IP games, since we all know none of us cheats (or hacks or dupes, etc.), so we don't have to deal with it if b.net is down or slow. Werewolf, I had heard that Target had it for $39.99, and also threw in a $9.99 game for free from a limited selection. I believe Starcraft Battle Chest was included in that selection, so you could just bust out all the Blizzard goodness in one trip there. I'm not sure if that was a sale or if it's a regular deal for now or what. Other than that, I think everyone has the Diablo Battle Chest for $49.99 still. Let me know if you get it and want to play.
