Official Freddy Vs. Jason thread

I can't wait for the DVD. They better go all out for it.

New Line always goes the extra miles with their DVD releases. Jason Goes to Hell and Jason X got great Special Edition DVDs and neither movie was nearly as big a hit as FvJ is. I'm sure the FvJ DVD will be packed with goodies.

Maybe Yu will do that on the dvd commentary track So Jason fans will learn once and for all

Sure he could. He isn't completely mortal in the real world. Jason tore his arm off and chopped him up after driving him through the side of a cabin and hurling him like he was in a hammer throw. That would have killed anyone, and Freddy was still alive. I mean, he was set on fire in the original Nightmare on Elm Street and he just strolled around the house in flames and started strangling that chick's mother. It stands to reason that he could still be alive.

Man, I wish Ronny Yu would just officially announce who it was that really won, so I can be proved right once and for all. After all, I read that the actual winner was his call.

Thats true. Freddy is already dead and bringing him into the real world just gives him a tangible(Thus destroyable) body. Hell they had to blow him up into nothing in Freddy's Dead to take him out, but once you dream about him he's back so it's pointless.

I don't see how anyone can say that Jason or Freddy won. Neither died, and Jason didn't land the "finishing" blow on Freddy anyway.

Even if there was a clear victor, they'd both be back eventually anyway.



If/when they make another Freddy vs Jason they should bring back Tommy Jarvis(sp?) and Alice, then finally kill those two off.
