They're fun to look at, but for christs sake my 5 year old nephew was beating me 1 out of 5 times by hitting the buttons. That tells you a lot about the gameplay involved in these two games (and I dont want to hear any smart ass comments from you bastardas).

Where as I would put in Street Fighter type games and he up and left cause button mashing doesnt work.

Well, I'm not going to get into it, since it's relatively OT, but, both those games have a block feature, if I recall. Button masher defeated (or does that constitute smart-assism).

Seriously though, they may get a few lucky shots in, but there's no way a masher should beat someone who knows what they're doing. The only reason a masher would be less "proficient" at SF is because the special moves require complex motions, and its slower than the games you mentioned. Doesn't sound like a very valid criticism, to me...

I am an old fart jerk though. Plus I work in the industry (no I dont work at the mall) so I'm rather critical in addition to being super jaded. Sometimes I bring that shit here instead of being a happy gamer like I'm supposed too. Sorry.

And I was super dissapointed by Sunshine, Prime, and the GC in general.

I cant wait for those new Capcom titles though.

I agree I don't like lame button masher games that take no talent to play. But sometimes a game that you don't have to do ten thousand different button functions to make a single movement is a good thing. If you really like to use multiple buttons, maybe you should look into P.C. games.
