I love how you go on and on about how evil it would be of Nintendo to do this and then you ask if it is even real. Hint: No, it's not real, and there is no megaton announcement, and Nintendo never ever said anything about a megaton announcement except that it doesn't exist.

I would love to take you on at Smash Bros. sometimes and have you give some button mashing a try against me, or really anyone who is at all experienced at playing it. The results would be quite amusing, I'm sure.

Its called irony sir. I've become a posting artist. I dont think when I post, my typing is my thinking, hence I was letting my brain run, then questioned the authenticity of this story after ranting about the corporate hijinx of nintendo feeling kind of silly, of course I could have edited the post, but thats not my style, so that was typed as well, kind of a train of thought style, catch my drift, maybe, perhaps, okay, good.

I like Smash Brothers. A lot. Yet I always believed it took less skill to play than Street Fighter.

That was until I played people who are VERY GOOD at Smash. The game is much deeper than you give it credit for. You CAN be skillful at it, and you can get good. Button mashers shouldn't even touch you.

And I can kick your ass in any SF out there.

DOA3, however, is below SF for sure. Hell, all 3D fighters (save SC) are.
