Problem with new PS2

I had this problem with my PSX and PS2 with my old Zenith TV. I never knew that it was an actual, documented problem though.

When I was looking for info on my problem I saw in the PS2 instruction booklet says something about certain televisions having problems. It does not name them but it gives a number to call. It says the problem is a "bouncing effect". That does not sound like my problem.. but who knows..

It also says that there is nothing wrong with the PS2 or ther way it was manufactred. Errrr.. how about the way it was designed. Who ever heard of a system that does not work with certain televisions. Just when you think you've heard it all about how crappy Sony hardware is there is something new to discover. Hmph...

Speaking of which.... I am seriously considering getting my money back and buying some GBA games and some old Saturn games I have been meaning to collect. Maybe I could try PS2 again when the price goes under $100. There are a bunch of PS2 games that look good but no killer apps for me anyway... But I could just be in a ticked off annoyed mood though. I am going to give it a few days to see how I feel.
