Well, Yasunori Mitsuda's new work is out, and what do you think about it?
Personally, I'm not sure if it's on the level that Xenogears or CC was: I need to listen to it more, but I think this OST definately has the potential to surpass his other works. The choral tracks are *fantastic*. The songs are, of course, composed with great skill that we have come to expect from Mr. Mitsuda.
Some of my favourite songs are probably "The Resurrection", "Beach of Nothingness", "Gnosis", "Last Battle", "The Miracle", and "Albedo". "Albedo" is just plain awesome.
On the other hand, "Pain" and "Spirit (Kokoro)" are the tracks that I like to skip over. I don't like the singer at all; mabye if the lyrics were in Japanese it would be better, but they're a little too sappy for my tastes.
