No. That's my whole point. There was absolutely no reason to bring up the ROM at all. Frankly this site pays too much lip service to the existence of that crap.

Maybe, but acting like they don't exist doesn't fix the problem. I do understand what you mean, though. It is kinda nice to come to a site that isn't constantly talking about them, eh?

I sent them ( Playmore ) an email with a few suggestions. They may read them, they may not, but I'm certainly hoping for the choice of both Soundtracks this year.

I got KOF 2001 yesterday. Let me just say that I'm really glad it's no longer going to be the last Dreamcast game made. I can't imagine the Dreamcast game lineup ending with that horrid travesty. It has terrible in-game character art and some of the worst music imaginable (not even one good track). Even worse, the game's unfinished; no names under characters' lifebars and muffled sound effects (see, I mean, hear Foxy's taunt). If it wasn't for Angel, Mei Lee, the return of a good Robert Garcia & Ralf Jones, and Heidern, off to eBay it goes. I keep hearing that KOF 2001 is the worst KOF ever, and now I can understand why it was being said.

Where was I? Oh yes, I have to reiterate how great it is that KOF 2002 is coming to the DC. The return of 3 vs 3 (no strikers) and an almost perfect lineup (boo hiss to no King and 96 Boss Team) makes for a better "last dance" for the Dreamcast than KOF 2K1.

Unless of course Metal Slug 3 DC is announced.

It wouldn't have been anyway, that credit will undoubtedly go to some 18+ pornographic game or a closely related cousin of the genre that is a borderline pornography dating sim.
