Thread: King of Fighters 2002 for Dreamcast AND PS2! ( updated )

  1. They could be. I haven't heard that they were cancelled and Playmore, like SNK before them, like to keep a tight lid on news of their games almost right before they're released. I don't expect to see and screenshots of SNK vs Capcom until the location tests start.

If they come to DC, I'll buy them... but then if they come to PS2, I'll buy them as well so I can't really offer any personal incentive for Playmore to choose one or the other. I'll be a bit pissed to have to buy a arcade stick for the PS2 though.

They should go for both. I don't think they have anything to lose.

    Finally, a worthwhile bump.

I was actually considering doing the same thing. I won't hurt to buy a game twice if it convinces Playmore to port more games to the PS2/DC.

I'd also like a home version ( non-Neo ) Rage of the Dragons, too.

Sig: Shiki - love her design ^^

Fighter X~and the cool thing is that they have a habbit of release Ascii fighting pads themed after fighting games for the PS2 in japan.so i could be playing KoF2k1 with my KoF2k1 fighting pad.Import stores are cool.

I'm willing to bet money Playmore ports SvC, too. I wonder if the fact that the DC's so import friendly plays into these decisions?
The system is easy to develop for and as far as I know companies no longer have to pay license fees for DC. I think it's a economical platform, apparently Playmore does too. Between Naomi and Atomiswave, the system has a huge arcade presence hopefully a few companies will still take advantage of that.

And I'd like to recommend emailing Playmore for a English option in KOF 2002, shouldn't be that hard. *-neo

FX~off topic.how is CvS2 on Xbox live.i meen i kind of hate the game cus it over shadowed Garou mark of the wolves(wich is vastly superior in every way)and the fact it sucks and all.but i have been itching to play it online.so is it good.
