Thread: XBOX Live headset

  1. XBOX Live headset

Is there any way to use some kind of splitter so someone else in your house can hear all of the shit talking? I'm not sure if it would be easy or not with the fact that the headset sends and receives. Anyone have a clue?

  2. Go to radio shack and see if they have a splitter that is the size of the input thats on the end of the headset, I don't know if its just me, but the thing looks smaller than a normal input jack.

  3. It's a 3/32" jack, same as most cell phone headsets actually. The easiest thing to do is get an extension cable, 3/32" male to female ( so you don't have extra adapters and weight plugged into the controller ) and then you can keep splitting off with the appropriate Rat Shack adaptors and cell phone headsets for guest players.

There's a how-to with part numbers and everything on this very topic at http://www.xbox-scene.com/articles/c...r-splitter.php

  4. Thanks for the info guys.

  5. they sell a 3/32 to two 3/32 splitters now- so you dont need to buy all those parts in the guide. i couldnt find one around here, but according to their websites the stores do have then.
