Hell yah.. this needs a tread for this tasty treat.. the very rare McRib.. i love these little bastards.. so lets talk about them..

Man, I used to eat these all the time when I worked at McD's back in the late 80's. I think I'm still paying for that... burp. I'm not so sure I could handle it now.

They should come with a complimentary wetwipe to offset the mess you are guaranteed to make while eating one of these.

Yeah, the McRib is actually pretty much the only McDonald's sandwich I can even eat. Usually it's just fries and McNuggets on the VERY few occasions I eat there outside of breakfast.

I love the McRib. It's tasty and filling, and best of all, cheap. I'll usually eat at Mickey D's if I'm near broke, and just want to have SOMETHING to eat rather than nothing. HOpefully, the McRib coming back will draw me there more.

I pretty much live on McChickens now. They are the shizzle, mah nizzle. I was getting my share of the Big N Tasty too, but lately my McDonalds has been getting fucked up- if you buy the $2 quarter pounder, it tastes a hell of a lot better than the $1 Big N Tasty for some reason.

i can't bring myself to eat pork from McDonalds, I have already given up thier nasty chicken. I'll still eat a hamburger if i'm desperate, but i only go there at all because they have the best fries.

Once you go Chik-fil-A you never go back to McDonalds nasty nuggets

Ah yes, the "Batman Returns" burger, which came back the next year as the "NHL Burger". Actually, that was pretty good, even though I know that every McDonald's meal takes 3 hours off my life expectancy.

While I am a BIG fan of the McRib, I doubt I would go back to McDonald's anytime soon. I was kinda off their food even before I talked to a friend from Pennsylvania who worked at a McDonald's because he was so desperate for a job (jobs are scarce in his town). He ended up quitting because the conditions and practices so utterly revolted him. (He even vomited on the kitchen floor because of something that happened. He refused to elaborate...)

Oh, well...

And yes, I remember the McDLT... specifically, my mom seeing this old woman who had never been to McDonald's before try to order her food:

"I want a proper hamburger."
"What do you mean, a proper hamburger?"
"I want a hamburger with lettuce, tomato, cheese..."
"Ah, yes, the McDLT is what you'd want."
"I don't want a McDLT, I want a PROPER HAMBURGER!"

*sigh* Supposedly the logic was that if they kept the two halves separate, the lettuce and tomato would stay cold and the burger meat warm. I guess that idea didn't pan out after all...
