Platoon
Aliens
Uncommon Valor
Saving Private Ryan
Transformers the Movie
Star Wars: Return of the Jedi
NOT The Thin Red Line...that movie SUCKED.
Army of Darkness- hey, there's an army in it...
Dolemite, the Bad-Ass King of all Pimps and Hustlers
Gymkata: I mean look at da lil playah woblin his way into our hearts in the sig awwwwwww
make the godamn Vietnam poll. someone.
Nobody listed "The Longest Day". I am angry. TLD is easily my favorite war movie; D-Day, June 6th 1944. What better subject for a movie.
bastard of the new world order.
I was just about to say I'm very disappointed noone added The Longest Day, but Stone beat me to it.
It's such a great movie, and so factual too. To intensify the greatness of the movie, some of the actors actually fought in WW2! The makings of a great movie!
I'd say Black Hawk Down, Enemy at the Gates, and Saving Private Ryan behind TLD. I also like Hart's War, even if it only is a war drama.
A good recent one is Tigerland, although it doesn't take place in actual war, it's about war training before Vietnam. Colin Farrell gives a great performance in this one, and some guy almost gets his nuts zapped with a battery.
