What's with the strap on thingee?
It's a "SPECIAL" cellphone/etc strap, available to those who preorder before January 15.
The art style in Initial D has always scared the living hell out of me.
That fellow is beyond ugly, for lack of a better phrasing.
Initial D would make a pretty underwhelming home title. It's basically Gran Turismo light for the arcade, which works well with the magnetic cards. But on a home system all you get is, well, Gran Turismo light, but with outdated Naomi graphics and an ugly guy. I'll pass.

What are the odds that this game comes out in NA? I must admit that I am mildly intrigued by the game. I think it looks nice (the racing part, heh) but I have heard very mixed things about the game.
There is an arcade on Ste-Catherine Street in Montréal that has a bunch of the arcade cabs... I have been meaning to try it out one day....
Is this an arcade-style racer or a sim? I am itching for thr return of Daytona, damn it.
Both. It's an arcade style racer in which you buy car parts and customize everything. In other words, it's alot like DC Sega GT. But nobody's going to confuse it with Daytona, in large part due to its mediocrity.Originally posted by Yoshi

Honestly, if it didn't say Sega and have a manga guy on it, nobody would even blink and it would get ignored like all those Konami arcade racers that nobody can even name.

I don't know exactly why.... but I think that sounds kinda neat... I generally prefer arcade-style racers.. but I also enjoy some customising...Originally posted by StriderKyo

Maybe I will like it, as long as the gameplay isn't too mediocre...
