Vexx - opinions wanted

That character design is pretty bad and it is thoroughly unappealing to me...... but IMO it's no worse than Jak & Daxter or the aformentioned Blinx if you compare it to relatively new high profile games.

Either way I am not interested in this game. Ho hum.....

I'm waiting for the reviews. After E3, I was thinking about possibly making a purchase, but after buying the horror that was Turok, I think I'll hold out for some killer reviews.

I'm not hating on Acclaim. However, most of their releases seem to lack polish....or fine-tuning, for lack of a better expression. The fact that they haven't rushed Vexx is a good sign, but we'll see.

I usually just read. Like GameZector and Tyler_Durden, I hang out on the video game stock boards at Yahoo. I post there with this ID or else rushout_craptitles_aklm. AKLM is Acclaim's stock symbol.

Many Acclaim stockholders believe that Vexx will sell a million copies. They compare the game to Super Mario Sunshine and even Zelda the Wind Waker, they seem to think it's an action-RPG or something. I've been trying to tell them that it will sell more like Midway's Dr. Muto or Haven, which sold a combined 7,000 copies in November and were instantly discounted to $29.99, and not sell like Nintendo's Mario Sunshine. This thread was to show the lack of interest in Vexx. Thanks.

That said, I kinda like Vexx's design, but I think it deals more with the body shape and style of gloves and boots then it does freaky clothes. It's like a subdued and more controlled version of FFX's fashion designer.
