Finally, New Art (painting)

Here is my newest piece. It is just a study, I looked at a picture for it & I feel that it came out OK. It is in oils & it took about a week to finish. I will have more stuff available soon, possibly this afternoon. I'm going down to the gallery to get some pictures of some more of my stuff while I have my mom's digicam.

I like this. You have a very good use of strokes. The paint strokes are not totally hidden, which have a nice authentic feel to it. Was this a model painting?

I was working from a photo, which was in black & white, so there you go.

& the right arm is just thrown back due to the arching nature of her pose.
