retail for the 4-disc set is like $120 (it might've dropped, but i doubt it). so anything under that is good. $80 is probably a decent sale price for it.
thanks, dude.
What's a decent price for the real deal?

I have the first disc, and plan to get them all when I get around to it. Even though the first disc is mostly just setup, it's already very good. Seems the guys behind Lain (their name escapes me) are my style, because I also love Neia_7.
Been meaning to watch this for a while. Found a translated short manga in a lain artbook recently, it's been making me want to sit down at watch it.

pic's have been reversed so they read american style.
Watched the series a few years back.
It's not bad, but not fantastic. Mediocre, I would say.
Lain is very good. But the first couple of episodes were boring enough that I really didn't want to watch it any further. But I am glad I did though.
But to say it is mediocre is just plain wrong if only for the single greatest plot twist in any story period.
Which was what?
probably the ending.
