Thread: Is anyone planning to attend any shows in the near future?

  1. Just came home from seeing the Hives. OMFG you all must make it your business to see them, they're amazing.

Highlights were Love in Plaster and Main Offender. They did a cover of a song by the saints, and we got a real encore after the obligitory fake one. Never have I seen a more charismatic front man, and the guitarist is a crazy SOB too. Great vibe, great music, all in all a really good night out.

Oh, and the lead singer slapped me in the head.

  2. Damnit Arjue, I am extremely jealous. I was already to see them here, but then they canceled for some reason. They have a new video for "2 Timing Touch and Broken Bones" and its a really fantastic video.

Going to be seeing "The Ike Reilly Assassination" next Friday, might see "The Secret Machines" the night after if I don't work. Then I am going to see "Umphrey's McGee" on the 17th. March I am not sure who is coming, but I am sure someone will be. April I am going to see "Queens of the Stone Age" and "Animal Collective"
    Barf! Barf! Barf!

  3. Hehe, we just got booked to play with Sum 41 on March 19th. Should be alot of people there.

Well at least there's one good band on the bill.

**edit** Oh, sorry! Not Sum 41.

  5. Piss on the audience for everyone.

I will drink Milwaukee's Best for hours before the show, so that I can spray a thirty foot long piss stream towards the audience from behind the drum kit.

Either that or just unroll my 100 foot cock.

You WILL be playing the katamari cover, yeah? Or is it too illegal?

I haven't read up on copyright law for music in a while, but I'm pretty sure you can perform just about anything you want live, you just can't record the copyrighted song and sell it. I don't think we'll ever play that song unless we get a specific request for it at a show. We don't really do covers, just had some fun for a little while there.

Actually it's one of the guys on our team, Kenneth. Same guy who has booked our spring break parties and Steve-o shows.
