Is anyone planning to attend any shows in the near future?

In addition to going to the March 11th and 13th shows of Interpol, I will also be getting shipped up to Minneapolis on the 12th to see them. And interview them. For free. Although "them" might be a little loose term, considering when I got an interview with Death Cab for Cutie, they said it would be the whole band but it was only Chris. As long as I get to talk to Carlos D, I'm down.

Saw "The Ike Reilly Assassination" last night and it was freaking amazing. Two opening bands were very forgetable, but I.R.A. was freaking awesome. Really rocked up some of their songs, did a few covers, and played quite a bit of stuff off his first album. If you have never heard of Ike Reilly, check them out. Especially if you like Folk-Rock-Rap-Blues bands.

Going to see Killswitch Engage on the 25th at the Tweeter Center in Camden. My Chemical Romance and The Used are playing too but I have absolutely no interest in seeing either of thos bands.

Citizen Cope is out, I guess it sold out or something, which is ok because I get to go to this local group Motel 5's last show (acid jazz/MMW type stuff.) They're breaking up because their guitarist is leaving, I might see if I can audition.
I'm probably going to go see Bill Frisell and the 858 quartet. The 858 quartet is Bill Frisell (guitar) and a small string section (violin, viola, cello) doing pieces based on paintings by Gerhart Richter. It should be interesting
