Is anyone planning to attend any shows in the near future?

I saw Killswitch Engage tonight, it was far too short but there was energy (even in the back where we were sitting) and the songs were heavy and done well. We had to sit through three opening bands but fortunately Killswitch was the first feature band to play so we jetted when they were done (missing My Chemical Romance and The Used).

Yeah, two man band, crazy drumming, lots of noise. Crazy altogether. I'd like to see them live one day.

Lightning Bolt are much crazier and much louder. Like the loudest thing ever, or so I have been told.

When I first heard the DFA album my immediate reaction was "tamer Lightning Bolt."

I would kill to see Lightning Bolt live, they're supposed to be insane.

Lightning Bolt have a DVD out. Its really good and you get a good sense of what their shows are like.

Gang of Four are playing 2 shows in Chicago in May. I think both are during my finals though. I would dance like a motherfucker at that show though.
