The Queens of the Stone Age concert I was going to last night got...canceld! Like 3 hours before the doors were to open they canceled it due to that Josh Homme had lost his voice. They said they will announce when the make up date is in 45 days. So I will still get to see them and use my current ticket, its just who knows when that will be.

Now correct me if I am wrong, but arn't like M83 and Prefuse 73 music thats mainly created via computers? What would a live show from those two be like? I have seen footage of people like Paul Oakenfold and some other techno-realm artisits and its just them standing there dancing basically because all they can do is press PLAY.

M83 actually uses a lot of guitar, it just doesn't sound like it. It kind of sucks tho that they mostly are playing along with a tape.

Like I am thinking of seeing Autechre next month, and I can't imagine it being anything more than a laptop and two guys just kind of standing there. I also can't picture the kind of crowd they bring out, if its crap like dudes wearing Ski goggles and wrapped in rope lights or some Paul Oakenfold-dance club crap I am going to be upset.
