I just got home from Mates of State, Taking Back Sunday and Jimmy Eat World. Awesome, awesome show. Mates of State are really fun, and I really want to hear some more shit from them. Taking Back Sunday had amazing stage presence and JEW was definetly my highlight. They sound almost identical to their recordings, and they had a great encore. Best show I've been to, I think.

I got tickets to see QOTSA. I have $2 to my name, and its in my bank account, so I can't get tickets to all the other gigs just yet (a friend got the QOSA tix).

Oh god, Mates of State are amazing live. So much energy and they love to speak to the crowd which really adds to the experience. Although, that might be because they played at the Bottom Lounge here which fits not even 200 people. All of their CDs are amazing and so much fun.

Saw Jurassic 5 last night at my buddies' school in NH. They were pretty good but the combination of me being sick and drinking all week caused me to almost fall asleep while standing up a couple times during the show.
Was planning on seeing Earlimart tomorrow night but the show was cancelled.
